Phoenix Rock City

Hi Phoenicians,

I am posting to invite all promoters and participants of fun events going on in Phoenix and its surrounding areas to come try out a new forum,

It's free, and all varieties of interests are welcome.

We have categories for - Local music scene, bands, venues, concerts, record releases, record stores, etc. Local art, First Friday, exhibits, performance art, galleries, etc. Local standup, sketch comedy, improv classes and groups, etc. Local poetry, spoken word, slam, etc. Local vaudeville, burlesque, sideshows, freakshows, etc. Local fetish balls, body modification, suspension, zombie proms, etc. Local roller derby, pro wrestling, cage fighting, shopping cart racing, bicycle co-ops, tractor pulls, monster truck rallies, demolition derbies, etc. Local comic books, roleplaying groups, videogame tournaments, etc. Local plays and one-acts, theatre groups, acting lessons, local film festivals, drive-ins, movie night house parties, film & TV productions, etc. Local dance and deejay clubs and nights, etc. Local open mic, karaoke nights, etc. Local places to eat, drink, be merry, etc. Local thrift stores, tattoo and piercing shops, fashion shows, etc. Local bookstores, book clubs, writing groups, author readings, etc. Local events, marches, protests, meetings for political and humanitarian groups, etc.

Whatever you got, we want!

The "official" launch is Memorial Day weekend, but we're hoping to get the word out now so new visitors already find posts waiting for them.

It's free, and no one involved in the site is making money off it, it's just a labor of love for those who love Phoenix and its underground/alternative/indie/counterculture scene.

Thanks for reading (and apologies for whatever crossposting may be getting this message on your friends' page multiple times!)
